32" Lasko Cyclonic Digital Ceramic Heater with Remote - REVIEW / HOW TO (Model CC24910). This is a complete review of the Lasko Electric Cyclonic Ceramic Console Heater with Remote available at the Home Depot. It's intended for use in spaces up to 300 sq ft, but there are lots of pros and cons. Features include: Adjustable thermostat (aka, Automatic Temperature Control); High and Low Heat Settings; Remote control; Cool To The Touch housing; and Overload Protection. Overall, I'm not impressed, but at least it's made in the USA (with imported parts). #Lasko

FOLLOWUP To My Remote Control Issue: In the video I mention that Lasko was going to send me a new remote for the unit. Well, it turned out they couldn't just send me a remote, so they sent me a new unit with remote. Let me rephrase that... They sent me 3 new heaters with remotes... WOW! Amazing and confusing! Overboard customer service? I suppose. Or they have a terrible shipping system. Or they're unloading inventory for a new model roll out. I have no idea. Thinking I would make the workshop nice and toasty, I plugged two of these in on a 15A circuit. As I suspected, it tripped the breaker in 20 seconds. I was standing in the dark thinking, "I should have known better!" Electric heaters should only supplement because they use a lot of electricity. Anyway, I ended up donating 3 of the 4 heaters to a local Veterans charity and kept one for the workshop.
