ICW Boat Trip - NY to Florida Ep 28 Home! Cape Coral FL

August 2022 - It’s been over 5 weeks since we left New York’s Hudson River for our cruising adventure to our new home in Cape Coral Florida along the intracoastal waterway.

Our final morning waking up on the boat is welcomed by a mysterious crackling and popping noise in the boat. We tear apart the boat trying to figure out what this popcorn sounding noise was. We’re not sure but according to the internet the noise is caused by Pistol Shrimp.

We make our final trek through the beautiful Cape Coral Canals on our way to our new Florida home. Little did we know what was in store for us in the coming months with Hurricane Ian.
