Three prominent members of Living Christ Mission were among the 447 Nigerians that received various categories of National Honours Award from the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari, Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR).

First, the founder, leader and archbishop of Living Christ Mission, His Grace The Most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah, Proprietor and Chancellor Hezekiah University, Umudi, Imo State, received the award of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON), an upgrade to the MFR conferred on him by late President Musa Yar'Adua in 2008. Second, Mighty Princess Onyinyeomachukwu Uwaechie, a philanthropist per excellence and Eminent Peace Ambassador, received Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) and Prof Bonn Obiekwe Godwin Nwanolue, a first-class academic of international repute and senior lecturer, Department of Political Science, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Igbariam, also received the same investiture as MON.

On Tuesday, 11th October 2022, the very day His Grace was born on earth, Mighty Princess Onyinyeomachukwu left Barcelona Hotel Abuja with other prospective MON awardees to the venue of the event: the International Conference Centre Abuja.

Here, the prospective awardees, that is, the high and mighty in Nigeria, were gently seated with their guests between 8am to 10am awaiting the arrival of the Commander-in-Chief of Armed Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari. The water-tight security here ensured that each awardee was able to enter the venue with one guest each, excluding accredited journalist

Presenting the National Honours Award to the recipients, President Muhammadu Buhari who personally gave the awards to each of the 447 awardees, said the National Honours are in recognition and celebration of sacrifice, distinguished achievements, dignity and strength of character for which the recipients exhibit and are henceforth, a shining example to younger generation.

While congratulating everyone who has just joined the distinguished league of Awardees, President Buhari, a Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR), reminded them that the National Honours are not merely decorative but a call to greater service to the best interest of the country.

The three awardees led by Mighty Princess Onyinyeomachukwu engaged in group pictures, with privileged brethren present.

At the Mediterranean Restaurant of the Nicon Luxury Hotel Abuja, 30 selected guests of Her Grace were treated to a first-class dinner reception as guests enjoyed continental and intercontinental dishes in a buffet popularly known as serve-your-self in local parlance.

Her Grace, was accompanied by her sister, Princess Chukwunazaekpere Hephzibah, Eminent Peace Ambassador, Head of Service and Shepard Mother-General of Living Christ Mission.

Here, distinguished guests including the traditional ruler of Ifite-Ogwari in Ayamelum local government area of Anambra State, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Alphonsus Ofuebe (Ogidiga); Pastor Augustine who came with Igwe Ogidiga; Special Assistant to General Yakubu Gowon, Dr Austin Kemia; Amb Alloy Michel representing Central African Republic and the Public Relations Officer of the church Deacon Emeka Agu took turns to eulogize Her Grace while congratulating her on the new feathers added to her wings, even as Dr Emma Wornu moderated the short ceremony.
Responding, the youngest recipient of MON award, Mighty Princess Onyinyeomachukwu said she owe everything she is today to His Grace Most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah for being the secret of her success. She also appreciated all guests present for celebrating with her.

At Living Christ Mission, Abuja Branch, many children of God were there waiting to give Her Grace a warm reception. They presented a welcome song to that effect and the Golden Noble Leader of Living Christ Youths responded accordingly.

It is worthy of note that since the inception of the National Honours Award in 1963 in Nigeria, a total of 5,341 people have received different categories of National Honours Award with the highest being OON, 1331; MFR 1039, OFR 966, MON 775, CON 573, CFR 359, FRM I, 154; FRM II 89, GCON 42 while GCFR was the lowest with 14.
