High in protein and easy to bake, these lentil crackers are gluten-free, delicious, nutritious, and much more economical compared to the commercial packs of lentil crackers.

Lentil & Herb Crackers

INGREDIENTS

3/4 cup raw red lentils, soaked for 3 hours
3/4 cup water
2 tsp mixed herbs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric

METHOD

1. Combine drained lentils with 3/4 cup water add the mixed herbs, salt, and turmeric, and blend on a high speed.

2. Pour into a lined baking tray and spread well all over. Bake at 375F for 30 min

3. Remove from oven and cut into squares or triangles transfer onto a rack

4. To get them extra crispy transfer to another lined baking tray but bake longer or spread the mixture thinner in the beginning.

5. Bake for another 20 min or until crisp and golden.
