The world of triathlon has a lot in common with ultra distance cycling: long events, even pacing strategies, carrying a bunch of stuff, and being mostly self-supported to name a few. From their world to ours, the Saturday: Pro Fuel and Hydration app is a useful tool for planning water, carb, and sodium consumption for training rides, and can help inform our needs for longer events too. While recommendations may at first feel like Kylo Ren shouting, "MOOORRREEE!", the end result for me has been more complete fueling that still avoids gut distress. A bit pricey at $6/month, and annoying to have yet another monthly subscription for bike tech tools, but the app offers more actual value than something like Strava premium.
