I've been wanting to see Tahoe's new UI design for myself, and man was I disappointed. As a Developer I really hate a ton of UI changes, and with macOS I've seen a lot of change, but not like this. In this video I explore some of the things I couldn't find online:

How do tabs work now? (all the pills!)
Do other apps inherit the new ugly tab design (no)?
Can you make Safari not look like sh*t? (kinda)
What does reducing transparency do (it does nothing)?
How does the top menu bar react (poorly)?
How bad are the rounded corners (really bad)?
What about disabling window tinting (doesn't do sh*t)?
How does the glass stuff react (badly)?
How does Spotlight work (it doesn't)?

To me this update feels super gimmicky. I don't know how they are going to make this into something I would actually want to use. As a Developer and just as a human who daily drives macOS I just don't love the idea that I might have to use this one day. Maybe this is my sign to switch to Linux!
