FMB is proud to help shape the future of sustainable agriculture at the UC Davis Agricultural Innovation Center, providing the architectural sheet metal, plumbing, and mechanical scopes of work for this cutting-edge, two-story facility. Partnering with Hensel Phelps as the general contractor, this project is designed to advance research in agricultural sensors and robotics, food-grade byproduct utilization, and resilient farming practices across California.

The new center features state-of-the-art labs, dedicated student spaces, and specialized research areas that foster collaboration and discovery. Mechanical highlights include ANSI Z-9.5–compliant lab exhaust fans, modular heat pump chillers, CLT structure attachments, and precision air control systems — all engineered to support groundbreaking innovation in sustainable agriculture.
