Glenn Winters, chief geophysicist at Fasken Oil and Ranch Ltd., demonstrates tools and techniques that he has used in the resource plays in Wolfberry of the Permian Basin and the Eagle Ford in Webb County. Winters currently is working with several 3Ds (one which is over 500 sq .miles), and he talks about his experience with response time and the ease of transferring common horizon picks across areas common in multiple surveys.
His example will show a typical workflow with volumes from the processing contractor and volumes generated within an interpretation application in order to high grade drilling locations and their integration with horizontal drill plans both pre and post drill and the inclusion of microseismic data.
