Today I color in Teresa Goodrige's "Wish you were here" book, using Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer pencils, dry.

The way I came across this tag, and why I decided to participate, it through Karen from ‪@MyColourfulCountryLife‬. She created a video about her own colouring goals for this year, and encouraged anyone who wanted to participate to also share theirs. Why this channel?

When I was in secondary school, the subject I got consistently low grades in was art class.

I made it mean I was not good enough: I lacked talent and I'd better look for something else to do with my life because painting was not going to be it for me.

Decades later, after taking a completely different career path, I am giving myself the chance to learn art again. Colouring, drawing, painting, sketching and illustrating. I’m trying them all.
