In this video, I’m sharing the next stage of my bouclé sweater project, focusing on two areas that turned out to be more challenging than expected: the neckline and the sleeves.

I talk through the decisions behind using a contrasting yarn for the neckline, the trial and error involved in finding the right pick-up rate, and how elasticity changed the look once the sweater was worn. I also cover the sleeve construction, why my initial plan didn’t fully work, and how I adjusted the armhole and sleeve shape along the way.

This video is less about a finished result and more about understanding the fabric, the construction, and the small technical choices that shape the final fit.
