Hiking Up Volcano RINCON DE LA VIEJA - UNESCO Site And The Biggest Volcano in Guanacaste Costa Rica.

As we were moving from east to west of Costa Rica we decided to visit Rincon de la Vieja National Park which was almost on our way. So we decided to do a short break and do the hike in National Park. We chose the trail Las Pailas which is a 3.5 km loop through tropical forest where we were able to see steaming fumaroles, mini geysers, natural hot springs and jungle waterfalls. Despite the heavy rain we were really enjoying the trip and being able to see the awesome power of the live Rincon de la Vieja - the biggest volcano in Guanacaste.
