LG Dual Screen | Forget Bendy Phones!

LG's new Dual Screen Cover for the V50 ThinQ adds a second display for serious multi-tasking, easier gaming and extending the camera features - and it's a more affordable, more 'flexible' alternative to bendy phones which turn into tablets. Here's our hands-on review with the design and best features.

The LG Dual Screen case adds a second OLED panel to the smartphone, this one a 6.1-inch display. It's a Full HD+ resolution unlike the QHD+ original, but visuals are still crisp and punchy.

The Dual Screen cover can be activated at any time and uses the LG V50's battery power, although it has its own graphics processor. You can throw any apps onto that second display and split-screen on the main panel, giving three apps simultaneously - just like Samsung's Galaxy Fold. Except the price here is a lot lower, and you can detach the cover at any point if you just want a standard phone.

You can use that second screen as a game controller, a viewfinder for the camera and plenty more besides - and LG will be extending these features as time goes by. So who needs a bendy tablet/phone thing?
