Time For Something New?

Today we’re visiting an organ I actually helped install in the church - I even got to help with the voicing of 2 ranks in the organ. It’s the new Mühleisen organ in St Peter in Montabaur in the German Westerwald.

The organ has - I can hardly believe it - actually been in the church for 5 years now. I played at its inauguration and it’s still as good to play now as it was then. At the end there’s a specially improvised Toccata for St Peter!

There’s also a pretty neat solution with the 32’ pedal pipes.
