Описание к видео Lego Singing Bird Automaton

This build posed an additional challenge as I wanted it to look nice.
The bird is inspired by the awesome creations of Thomas Poulsom.

Mechanism:
The crank of the device has a ratchet mechanism fitted that prevents the mechanism being turned backwards.
The turning of the head is programmed on to a chain that engages with two knob gears.
The turning motion is then transmitted through one of the legs of the stand and then through the bird‘s body to the head.
The flapping wings are actuated with a thin thread that is routed through the other leg of the stand and is just connected to the pumping mechanism.
