Ingredients:

2 pcs large mackerel (cleaned)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper (devided)
oil for frying
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 medium onion (thin sliced)
1 bulb garlic (minced)
1 red bell pepper medium (dice sliced)
1 tbsp. sugar (red)
1 tbsp. chili flakes
2 tbsp. oyster sauce

Cooking Procedures:

1. Slice onion, garlic and red bell pepper then set aside.

2. Season the macherel with salt and black pepper. Set aside.

3. Heat the wok on medium heat and pour in the oil. Fry the mackerel for 5-7 minutes or until brown, remove from wok. Clean the wok.

4. Heat wok again on medium heat. Pour in the oil followed by butter. Add onion and sautè for 1 minute and when garlic becomes aromatic.

5. Add red bell pepper and stir for 15 seconds. Add sugar, chili flakes, black pepper and oyster sauce. Stir for 1-2 minutes.

6. Remove the wok with sauce from the stove. Pour in the sauce onto the fried macherel.

7. Serve with rice and enjoy.
