Hello, I am Dr. Natasha.

I recently completed my MCh in Burns and Plastic Surgery from AIIMS Jodhpur in July. Following this, I had the wonderful opportunity to join a fellowship under Dr. Karthik Ram Sir at Chennai Plastic Surgery. I first learned about this fellowship through a dear friend and senior, Dr. Rohit Roy Sir, to whom I am incredibly grateful for guiding me toward this enriching experience.

Initially, I had some apprehensions about moving to Chennai—being in a new city and adapting to a different language were concerns in my mind. However, from the moment I joined, all these worries faded away. Dr. Karthik Ram Sir, the staff, and my co-fellows created such a welcoming and supportive environment that I felt at home within a week. Sir is extremely approachable and encourages us to share our thoughts not only during procedures but also afterward. He ensures that all our doubts are addressed and, beyond medical knowledge, he shares invaluable life lessons from his own experiences.

At Chennai Plastic Surgery, we are actively involved in the patient’s journey—from the initial consultation to the procedure and follow-ups. This holistic approach has been incredibly beneficial for my learning. The variety of procedures here is extensive, covering everything from brow lifts, rhinoplasty, blepharoplasty, facelifts, and neck lifts to body contouring, gynecomastia surgeries, breast augmentation, and reduction. Additionally, the exposure to non-surgical treatments such as Botox, fillers, and liquid rhinoplasty has been invaluable.

Looking back, I feel truly grateful for making the decision to join this fellowship. The exposure and hands-on experience in aesthetic and cosmetic surgery have been exceptional. Dr. Karthik Ram Sir has created an outstanding program, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to explore and refine their skills in this field.
