In this video we will use Photoshop to create pattern overlays as a means to showcase our print and pattern designs on the surface of an object. This process is also known as texture mapping; where a 2D surface is digitally wrapped around a 3D object.

Hot Keys for Mac Users | For PC users, if I mention hot keys using Command ⌘, replace that hot key with Control (Ctrl).

Undo | Command ⌘ + Z
Copy | Command ⌘ + C
Paste | Command ⌘ + V
Select All | Command ⌘ + A
Deselect | Command ⌘ + D
Levels | Command ⌘ + L
Curves | Command ⌘ + M
Zoom In | Command ⌘ + + (plus sign)
Zoom Out | Command ⌘ + - (minus sign)
Rulers | Command ⌘ + R Hide
Guides | Command ⌘ + ; (semicolon)
Create a New File | Command ⌘ + N
Free Transform | Command ⌘ + T
Hand Tool | Spacebar
Eyedropper Using a Coloring/Drawing Tool | option

To Add to Selections | Shift
To Delete from Selections | Option
Invert | Command ⌘ + Shift + I
