Hi folks. After recovering from the 1000 points of psychic damage watching past life episode 7 did to me, I decided to write a song about it, exploring the villies @GeminiTayMC and @Grian their grief after Pearl's no good very bad day.

LYRICS:
Is it cold tonight to you?
Must be something with the moon
Something scarlet, something cruel
Something we forgot to do?
A weary widow bows his head
He stands his vigil to the end
By his side, still soaked in red
A wanderer, a curse, a threat.
The widow and the wanderer
They played a lonely dirge
The widow said “the game will end, and with it ends the curse”
The wanderer responded, “thats where you and i diverge
the widow mourns, the widow weeps,
the wanderer moves on.”
I remember long ago,
In a circle lined with stones.
They bore their fists, exchanging blows
Still, he’d never let him go
The widow and the wanderer,
They laughed, they sang and cried
The wanderer raised up her glass: “a toast to times gone by”
The widow stood to meet her, to look her in the eyes
The widow mourns, the widow weeps,
When all his friends are gone
She knows she sent her off to die.
She knows she never said goodbye.
She knows that hes the reason why.
She knows… She knows…
She knows she can’t turn back the time,
She knows the burning won’t subside,
She screams her rage into the sky.
She knows… she knows…
The widow and the wanderer,
They walked the red-stained fort
The widow’s hand an hourglass, the wanderer’s a sword
The wanderer, her eyes ablaze, she joined the bloody war
The widow mourns, the widow weeps,
The widow carries on
The widow and the wanderer,
The night without a day.
The widow writes a eulogy “to those I couldn’t save”
The wanderer, hands scarlet, lays a rose upon her grave
The widow mourns, the widow weeps,
The wanderer moves on.
(If you've read this far, here's a cursed piece of trivia about this song: its the same chord progression (though a different, much less easy on the fingers, key) as Riptide. Go, try to sing Riptide along to this. Trust me, it works.)
