I refurbished my friend's grandfather's old Sheffield Chronograph Swiss Made watch. Despite my inclination to service it thoroughly, he opted to maintain its originality. The watch underwent a cleaning, received a new crystal, and had its band replaced. Remarkably, even without a full service, the watch continues to keep good time. This restoration not only revived the watch but also preserved a cherished family keepsake.
