so uhh, remember when I wrote in the description of the garbage mode run where I said I did that as warmup for this?

it was nowhere near enough of a warmup

I think I lost to this very first opponent TEN times: There's barely any room for error, big garbage blocks are more frequent [yeah you saw those big x10 chains from Pidgey right], and with how often you'll likely be on a small space situation, crucial mistakes on those WILL end your run - like with how I spent five minutes on the Kakuna match first attempt only to accidentally lock myself out and lose...

...But hey, while I guess it makes sense that I triggered the Marill fight even if by accident [I had to be going ham with chains and stuff to be able to win], I was NOT counting on the fight happening at all. Was kind of nervous, but pulled it off succesfully - and good thing too, since the extra fights are one try only.

There's no benefit of beating the extra fights in Intense specfically, but its cool to do so if possible knowing that when you win and unlock that Pokémon, you can't rematch them in Challenge mode unless you erase your unlocked Pokémon.
