Easy Short Colorful Walk at Tacoma's Point Defiance Park. I think this is one of the coolest little walks in the Tacoma area because this tiny getaway packs in a duck pond, botanical (rose) gardens, Japanese Garden, and Puget Sound views from an elevated pedestrian bridge. This stroll never gets old whether you live close by to Point Defiance Park or you’re just passing through Tacoma. At lease I think so, and I’ve been through this part of the park hundreds of times. It’s why we chose to live in the area.

If you want to extend your walk from here, you can head off to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, miles of forested trails, Dune Park, or Point Ruston.
