Every year, the Rock Paper Shotgun team picks the 24 best PC games of the year and stuffs them inside an Advent Calendar for you to devour across the month of December. This video highlights 12 of those PC games we celebrated at the end of 2020, as well as the Team RPS’ 2020 game of the year. Honestly, it could’ve been a top 50 best PC games 2020 list, but you have to stop somewhere! Our list includes big hitters, like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077, and some great indies that’ll live long in the memory, like Paradise Killer and Spiritfarer.

The first 11 PC games on this list aren’t ranked – this isn’t necessarily a top 12 PC games for 2020 – but the last game on the list is the one that all of us at RPS decided was the definitive PC game of the year 2020. But, in saying that, you should go out of your way to play all of these games if you can.
