Bedaghat( Jabalpur)-Narmada waterfalls - Madhya Pradesh_29 Feb 2024

We visited Bedaghat ,near Jabalpur – MP during end Feb 2024 and stayed at the Vrindavan Gopala Resort for a couple of nights .
Bedaghat is famous for the Narmada river waterfalls and is located around 30 km SW of Jabalpur .
Vrindavan Gopala Resort was formed around 16 years back and is managed by its owner Mr Nema.
The original land height was raised by around 10 ft at the Resort , to enable a better view of the water falls .
The Resort arranged their buggy to reach the newly constructer Narmada rope way that took us across the falls to the other side .
A short auto ride and a small flight of steps led us to the riverfront Boats area . We negotiated for a boat for our own use and came with 3 boatmen .
During the 1 hr ride , we were entertained by the Boatmen with funny stories around this place , with a rhyming touch ..
The water flows was very low and we could see exposed rocks in the water that would be normally fully submerged during rainy times .
After the boat ride ,we took an auto back to the Ropeway start point and then walked for almost a KM thro a street lined with make shift shops to reach the falls .
The falls look majestic from the very close viewing point . One can walk upstream and sit along the bank of the river .
Overall our experience of the stay at the Resort and visit around the Narmada river was very nice and fulfilling !
