SUZUKI SWIFT 1 2 GL Test Review

Recently launched in SA, the new generation #SuzukiSwift carries on where its extremely popular predecessor began. Still sporting the very distinctive "helmet look", the changes are below the surface. Based on a new lightweight platform, the new #Swift sheds around 95kg and you can feel it in the sprightly performance from the "old school" 1.2 4 cylinder engine. Overall, it keeps the fun handling of the previous version but adds practicality that was lacking in the old model. Boot space and passenger space increases are welcome. Perhaps my only issue is the lack of an up to date infotainment system........how about a GLS version? At the list price of R175 000, this must rate among the best bargains around and I would rate the new Swift as the best buy for buyers under 30 years
