The Gardaí are now testing drivers for drugs. And there's a new resource to help them catch drug drivers: the Drager Drug Test 5000. Now, they'll be able to take oral fluid from drivers to test if they've taken any of cocaine, cannabis, opioids or benzodiazepines. This video depicts a drug driving checkpoint, demonstrating how the Drager 5000 works and the consequences that will happen if you are caught drink driving.
