Architecture students build amazing pop-up cinema space

Second year students from the University of Reading’s School of Architecture took part in an end-of-year 'Making Workshop' to create and build a mobile pop-up cinema space as part of their Construction Technology module.

Through collaboration with Reading’s OpenHand OpenSpace art collective, the design team consisted of architects, structural engineers, makers and a group of second year undergraduate students, who collaborated on a brief that called for sustainable approaches to create the prototype and making practices that were inclusive of different skills.
