Rotor X DRAGON eVTOL Flight Test

Rotor X Aircraft has completed hundreds of unmanned test flights of the new fully electric DRAGON eVTOL Personal Air Vehicle. This flight test concludes the flights of the pre-production version shown at the Oshkosh AirVenture 2023 event in July which leads the way for the piloted flight tests planned for early September of 2023.

This electric ultralight aircraft will be a quick build kit that doesn’t require a pilot’s license in the US because it meets the FAA Part 103 Ultralight Aircraft requirements. Rotor X plans to have the DRAGON eVTOL PAV in production by March 2024 and is priced at under $90K. Orders are currently being taken for 2024 production slots.
