Remember to add seam allowances to the cut panels while cutting on fabric where necessary.
Drafting a denim jacket is not as difficult as it may be in its appearance.
So in today’s video am going to share with you the easy way on how to draft this fascinating denim pattern step by step . Just watch this video up to the end.

simple brief about denim / jean/ trucker jacket:
Introduced in the United States in the late 19th century, it has been a popular type of casual apparel with both men and women and has been described as an iconic element of American fashion.

Ladies and gentlemen our denim practical pattern drafting body
Measurements required:
Round chest: 36” + 4 ease allowance but u can add less or more ease depending on the fit u want.
Shoulders: 15”
Jacket full length: 23”
Sleeve length: 23”

NOTE: THE FRONT ARMHOLE IS ALWAYS DEEPER THAN
THE BACK ARMHOLE

Other requirements that are needed when drafting any pattern for this project I will need:
A note book
Drawing rulers preferably fashion rulers
You will also need a tracing wheel
Paper scissors
Tape measure and
Different color marker pens etc

When drafting a denim jacket sleeve pattern you have to draw horizontal lines which are distanced and placed vertically from each other using the body calculations as you will be seeing in this video.
To elaborate them better I will be marking and labeling these lines with names.
