The X6 M50i is equipped with the new version of the 4.4L turbocharged TwinPower 8-cylinder engine that develops a “mere” 523 hp between 5,500 and 6,000 RPM and 553 lb-ft of torque between 1,800 and 4,600 RPM. That means the powertrain now generates 78 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque more than the previous model.
