Clonazepam is a medication known as antiepileptic or anticonvulsants.
Clonazepam works by calming your brain and nerves.

Uses :
Used in the treatment of typical and atypical absence infantile spasms(babies seizures)
Myoclonic epilepsy
Atonic seizures(type of seizure that causes sudden loss of muscle strength)

Dose
Infant & Children : 0.01 to 0.03 mg/kg body weight daily in 3 to 4 devieded dose , Maximum dose is 0.2 mg / kg body weight
Adults : initially 1.5mg/day increased by 0.5mg/day
Maximum 20mg daily
Maintain 4 to 8 mg daily

Special precautions
Avoid alcohol during treatment
Don't use in pregnancy and lactation
If hypersensitivity with benzodiazepine not use

Drowsiness
Fatigue
Lethargy
Muscular incoordination (ataxia)

Depressive mood
Nausea and vomiting
Anorexia and dyspepsia
