6 Uren van Kortrijk 2024 - SS2: De Katte 1 - all cars (raw footage), 2 mistakes & mechanical (fixed)

The first stage on Sunday of the 31st 6 Uren van Kortrijk (Courtrai). A first pass on SS De Katte, a brand new stage with a length of 4.83 km.

Niels Reynvoet (2, Citroën C3 Rally2) completed the stage in 2:29.6, 0.6 seconds faster than Melissa Debackere (3, Škoda Fabia RS Rally2) and 2.9 seconds before Vincent Verschueren (1, Citroën C3 Rally2).
Reynvoet is in the lead with 5 seconds advantage on Verschueren and 7.9 on Debackere.

In Historic, Maxime Casteleyn (205, Ford Escort RS 1800 MKII) was the fastest in 2:43.6, 2.9 seconds faster than Paul Lietaer (201, Opel Ascona 400) and 5.4 seconds faster than Sascha Oosterlinck (212, Subaru Impreza).
Leader in Historic is currently Jean-Louis De Roeck (202, BMW E30 M3), 6.0 seconds before Lietaer and 7.9 seconds before Bert Cornelis (206, Opel Monza).

There were 2 mistakes in the video:
Frederik Vandenbulcke (249, BMW 2002 Tii) spun and got stuck with the rear (propelled) wheels in the ditch. (thumbnail)
Luc Diet (64, Peugeot 106) locked up under braking and went straight, luckily he got to a standstill still on the road, there was a steep and deep ditch ahead!

Also, Mike Callens (250, Opel Manta i240) got engine issues, but he got them fixed and could continue the stage with only some minutes lost. On the next stage, he also lost some minutes, but then he finished the rally without further issues! (also on the thumbnail)
