Erling Haaland has responded to Roy Keane's chants of "Keano" before scoring a penalty in front of Old Trafford's Stretford End. The chants of "Keano" were a reference to the history between Haaland's father Alf-Inge Haaland and Roy Keane. The Irish legend couldn't help but joke about the songs, asking, "Is he talking about Robbie Keane?" referring to his former Republic of Ireland teammate.

Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola was spotted giving Erling Haaland heading advice despite the Manchester City star netting two goals in the Manchester derby. Guardiola remained on the pitch after the final whistle to celebrate with their travelling fans, before the Spaniard had an animated discussion with Haaland over the missed header. Guardiola could be seen imitating headers as he explained what the Norwegian could have done better. Haaland appeared frustrated by his manager's perfectionism, arguing intensely and turning his back on Guardiola.

Sky Sports pundit Roy Keane was similarly unimpressed, questioning why Guardiola chose to instruct Haaland out on the pitch and in front of the fans. Keane said, "It is far from the first instance where the City boss has chosen to be animated with players on the field. Mid-way through a game against Burnley in August, Guardiola was followed by TV cameras as he shouted at Haaland."
