Sweetcorn Harvest and tomato heartbreak

The sweetcorn is ready to harvest on the allotment and the tomatoes have got blight. Just two of the jobs that I have got to do in this weeks video. I have grown a lot of sweetcorn this year and it’s time to harvest it and see how it has grown this year. I planted the sweetcorn in two locations so we take a look to see which area did best and I tell you the reasons why i chose two locations as a bit of an experiment. The tomatoes oufside have again been hit with blight this year. I’m so disappointed as they were just starting to turn red but I will have to clear the bed and prepare it for spring. The greenhouse tomatoes have done excellent and following my accident in the greenhouse the aubergines have also done really well too. I have had a few harvests now of aubergines. It is unsure if I have chillies or peppers growing in the greenhouse. I might have to eat one and see what they are. This growing season is starting to end now but the flowers that I planted on the allotment have done amazing and I share with you the last of the blooms and reasons why I chose to add flower onto the plot.
