Street Fighter EX Plus [Arcade] - play Cycloid Beta

Cycloid Beta is a hidden playable character in the game.

===== HOW TO SELECT CYCLOID BETA =====

1) Firstly, the machine/game has to be in operation for at least 200 hours. After this, Cycloid Beta will appear on the high score Ranking screen.

2) Now on the character select screen, do the following:

highlight Pullum and press START 4 times
highlight Ryu and press START 3 times
highlight Blair and and press MP or MK

If you've done it correctly, Beta will be selected. (MP selects him in his default costume/colour; MK selects him in his second costume/colour)

I can confirm that this input command works. The hard part is getting the 200 hours on record to make Beta appear on the high score Ranking screen.

===== ABOUT CYCLOID BETA =====

Cycloid Beta is basically a "demonstration" model of one of the steps required when creating a character in SFEX. Obviously, they've made such a model into an actual playable character, and also adding some lighting effects to it.

Cycloid Beta is one of the easiest ways to create a "new" character so it's not surprising that Arika did it... as EX Plus is mostly just an update of the original game, they knew they had to somehow put "new" characters into it to entice and give something new to the players.

===== GAMEPLAY =====

Beta "borrows" moves and attacks from a number of characters, and uses rolling command motions for his special and super moves. He has a large movelist, which means that he has very good special-to-super and super-to-super combination connect abilities.

In SFEX Plus, the characters he borrows moves from consist of Blair, Allen, Pullum, Chun-Li, Ryu, Ken, Akuma, Doctrine Dark, Kairi and Bison.

===== UNIQUE SPECIAL MOVE =====

Interestingly, he has a unique version of Ryu's Hurricane Kick. For Beta's one it works by allocating one kick for the LK version; two kicks for the MK version; and three kicks for the HK version. Also, if you use the MK or HK versions of it, the additional kicks come out automatically. He is the only character in the game with this variation of the move.

===== ABOUT ARCADE SFEX PLUS =====

This is basically the "Champion Edition" of the original SFEX... the most significant additions are that M.Bison and Garuda have been made playable characters, and four new hidden characters are added to the roster. Akuma and the four previous time-release characters are immediately available this time and are no longer hidden characters, with the latter four being able to appear as regular CPU opponents. Other changes include recolored stage backgrounds and gameplay balance changes.
