It’s late summer and my garden is a bit messy, but still producing food!! In this video, I’m taking you through Step 2 of my late summer garden cleanup, where I’m focused on harvesting whatever I can! I found cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, thyme, basil, sage, beets, and even flowers to create a fresh end of summer feast. I’ll also show you how to recognize when cucumbers haven’t been pollinated, how to prune herbs like thyme and basil so they keep producing, and lots of simple harvest tricks that keep your plants healthy and abundant.

By the end, you’ll see that summer garden clean up doesn’t just mean pulling weeds, it also means gathering food, flavor, and flowers for the dinner table!
