Testing the new Corpus Ferrox speargun against it's Grineer counterpart, the Javlok. Is the Ferrox significantly better? Or does the Javlok still have some use?


Technical information:
Toxin/Radiation is ideal for crit weapons as this allows them to deal damage to both types of Grineer armor, so the resulting critical hit is larger.

Since the Javlok has higher status however, it's better to build the weapon for Heat and Corrosive. In addition to the crowd control of heat procs, Heat deals +25% bonus damage to Grineer health, and each corrosive proc reduces the armor that limits Heats effectiveness. Each shot does increasingly more damage than if it was just corrosive.

Due to my toxin mod not being maxed on my Javlok, respect the Heat/Corrosive test against the Heavy Gunner to Tie with the Ferrox, rather than losing by a tiny amount.
