This episode of WET STORIES features surf photographer Giora Koren. His journey as a surf photographer began 18 years ago, when he moved to Hawaii. Since then, he has become one of the most prominent photographers to feature Maui’s highest waves in the world (aptly named Jaws). At the start of Koren’s career, Jaws were deemed virtually unsurfable, but Koren witnessed and documented the change in attitude toward these deadly waves over the years - and captured some truly unbelievable footage of the bravest of surfers facing these waves. Now living in his home country, Israel, Koren keeps the ocean - and his camera - close at all times.
