Woodstock Chimes is a family-owned business that began as Woodstock Percussion in 1979 by Grammy-award winning musician Garry Kvistad. They’ve been making unique musical gifts that people have been enjoying for over 40 years. The Hanging Chau Gong is handcrafted using traditional methods, and has the appearance to prove it. Made of carefully hand-hammered bronze with a black bull’s-eye and black finish ash wood, this gong has a deep tone and long-lasting resonance.

It’s beautifully authentic and hangs from a string loop at 30 inches in length. The gong diameter is 13 inches, making it a perfect medium-sized gong choice. While it looks incredibly sturdy, the weight is only 4 pounds, so it’s a lightweight option as well.
