The Krishna River is experiencing unprecedented inflows, leading to significant concerns over the damage caused to the Prakasam Barrage in Andhra Pradesh. On Monday, three boats, which were washed away from upstream areas, collided with the flood gates of the barrage.

Kanaka Durga Temple In Vijayawada has long history. It is one of the ancient temples in Andhra Pradesh. The goddess Durga matha in this temple is said to be very powerful. Beside the temple there is a river krishna where both durgamma and krishnamma are sisters.

River krishna is under prakasm barrage and a beautiful place to visit during night time.

People from all parts of the India will come Andhra Pradesh to visit the Kanaka Durga Temple everyday.
