A poetic and existential dive into a woman's mind during the nine months of her pregnancy. For the past ten years Olivia has been an actress of the famous company “Theatre du Soleil” where she met her boyfriend and companion Serge. Part Italian Diva, part punk rocker, she has been accustomed to being the center of attention throughout her life.
At the age of 34 things start to change abruptly when she finds out she is pregnant. At first, the couple is delighted. However, the months of the pregnancy unfold as a rite of passage for Olivia who has to confront her inner demons and deep seated fears while slowly trying to rewrite a new philosophy of life and love.
The film was created through CPH:LAB who paired both directors together in the end of 2012. Freely inspired by Virginia Woolf’s
MRS. DALLOWAY, the directors propose a "mis en scene" of the actors lives constantly playing in the border of fiction and non-fiction.
