NORCO is a beautiful, ephemeral and astonishingly well-written Sci-Fi Southern Gothic Detective Story set in the petrochemical swamplands of the real-world town of Norco, Louisiana, that touches on many of the most important struggles of our current generation.
It’s been developed by Geography of Robots and published by RawFury and was released in April 2022, and it absolutely took me by storm. This video is a (largely spoiler-free) discussion of the impressions it made on me, themes and game design intricacies that deserve high praise.
