Flight Formula: Innova Racer

Описание к видео Flight Formula: Innova Racer

Creating an ultra-long distance driver that handles like an easy-flying mid-range has been a coveted goal for quite some time. However, achieving this balance has proven elusive. Add too much torque resistance, and the disc won't glide; design in too much turn, and the disc might go far but become hard to control. Balancing these factors has posed a significant challenge—until now.
Introducing the all-new Innova Racer.
The [12|6|-1|2] Racer is a long-range distance driver engineered to possess less low-speed overstability while maintaining its high-speed torque resistance.
The Racer's [12] speed wing fits comfortably in hand, avoiding the bulkiness often associated with faster drivers. Its remarkable [6] glide becomes evident as it gracefully navigates the fairway, seemingly hanging in the air longer than anticipated. With a [-1] turn, it deviates only slightly off the line, while the [2] fade subtly, but reliably, guides it back towards center.
What sets the Racer apart is its innovative design. Unlike other disc golf drivers, the leading edge of the Racer is rounded, resembling the wing of an airplane. This wing-like nose, created with a small, comfortable bead at the edge, is the secret to the Racer's straighter-for-longer flight.
The key advantage this gives the Racer is its ability to withstand high-velocity throws without becoming flippy, while shedding the some of the low-speed overstability typical of traditional drivers. For players who favor forehands or possess 350-plus feet of backhand power, the Racer offers unparalleled ease of control at maximum distance. It flies like a longer Destroyer, but with more forward finish and less sideways flare on the skip.
Whether you’re tackling a downhill shot that must maintain its trajectory or navigating an OB-lined hole with precision, you can get down the fairway a little farther, and stay on it a little easier, with the all-new Innova Racer.

The 1st run prototype Racer shown in the video flies a little on the beefy side in Metal Flake Champion, just how the big arms like them. Lighter weights and alternate plastic variations will have even less low-speed overstability, and should fly even straighter
