Why did the Rio Olympic pool go green and the excuses that are given? What caused it? Are the officials doing the right thing? What are they doing about it? Will it work?

Was it a higher pH level? Or a lower TA level? How about algae? Or too much heat and lack of wind? What chemicals did they run out of?

The mishandling of this issue is extremely apparent even to the most casual observer. Pool guys and pool operators, they are not. And calling "experts" from Canada and having committees won't solve this issue.
