It is designed to give your 2011 to 2012 Mustang GT up to 28 more horsepower and 34 lb-fts of torque by maximizing the air oxygen density inside the intake manifold. This is acheived by strategically placing the high flow air filter in a location where it can draw in cooler air and be less affected by ambient engine heat. Since there will be more air entering the combustion chamber, this cold air intake will work best with a custom tune in order to recalibrate the vehicle CPU to properly compensate for the extra volume.

The large intake tube is made from highly durable ABS plastic and improves the airflow by as much as 45%, helping your 5.0-liter motor to produce more power and torque.
