I've never had too much attraction to foreign records, especially LP's, but this Soviet Union 7 1/2 Inch CCCP record was an absolute blessing to come across. If there ever were songs that had the overall message of "you don't need to know the language to understand the beauty", the 5 songs on this microgroove record would all apply. I can barely put together a sentence in Ukranian, and even lesser so in Russian, but Georg's vocals are amazing on some of these. I'll transfer this side, and the full album at a later date.

For the following information, you might want to take with a grain of salt, because there's a language barrier, and I got my translation of the titles and credits translated from a friend of mine who knows the languages better than I do, and the rest I piece together over several weeks:

This album is recorded as "Concert of Georg Ots (labeled as Georgy Otsa) On His Birthday" The backing orchestra sadly does not appear to be listed. Which birthday isn't known, but I heard somewhere that it was recorded ~1956, which if true, makes the recording date 3/21/1956. (36 years old)
