Lost Holiday Resort | Severn Beach

Join us as we take a walk along the site of a forgotten holiday resort. Severn Beach was once a thriving resort popular with residents of the Bristol area. Sporting a boating lake, Lagoon Lido and all the rides you would associate with a resort. All at the mouth of the River Severn. Now long forgotten, Severn Beach is popular with walkers of the Severn Way, people taking a stroll with their dogs, and indeed anglers.
We take a look at the site of the New Passage, which is where the ferry used to leave from, to get across the estuary to Wales.
And marvel at the construction of the Bridges that span this very dangerous tidal area.
