Описание к видео How To Copy Levels From A Revit Link

This is a Revit copy monitor tutorial. You will learn how to copy levels from a Revit link into your Revit project fast. You will even learn a couple Revit Pro tips that you may not know. If you like this kind of content please subscribe and let us know what you would like to see by leaving a comment. For this exercise we are a HVAC firm and we just linked in our Architectural Revit file into our empty Mechanical model. See How To Manage Links ( the right way ) as that is the first step in setting up your Revit project. It might be helpful to set the discipline to coordination so everything in the link is shown. We will open up a elevation view and delete all the existing floor plans in our mechanical template. We will pin our Architectural link so it does not accidentally move anywhere and cause us to loose our mojo. Lets go up to the collaborate tab / Copy / Monitor / Select Link. We can go over to options and adjust any preferences that we want to come over on the copied levels. We can adjust the heads. We can set offsets to levels, this brings the copied level in to your project at a height difference from the linked level depending on what you put in the offset box. We can choose to re-use levels from our project that have the same name as the copied levels. ( this will not apply to us because we deleted all our original levels in the beginning of this exercise. We can add a suffix (add text before the level name ). We can add a prefix ( add text after the level name ). Now we will go to copy. Pro tip time, click the check box for multiple and then window your entire linked model. Go to filter and uncheck everything except levels. Go over to finish and then finish once again. To confirm everything went as planned we go to view / plan views / floor plan and we can see the levels we copied in are now there. Last we will delete our original level because it is no longer needed. Now it is time for our bonus time saving tips that you may not know. You can copy / monitor more than levels and gridlines but it is not recommended because the more you copy / monitor into your project the more it may slow down your speed and that is no Bueno.
