What to Expect in a New Golf Season

Both BDog and I took off from playing golf. I had not played since Tbilisi Hills with rental clubs, and the last time he played was also the last time I played before Tbilisi Hills, at Aquella with 5'9.

We want to do better this year. I want to embrace who I am as a golfer, and stop getting so worried about being 'relatable' or whatever. I want to be a plus handicap golfer. 2023 was just a bad year for many reasons. 2023 promises to be better. I need to embrace my distance, my strength, my ability and get out of my own way and allow myself to go deep.

BDog needs to get a hold of his trajectory, control distance with his wedge game, learn his tendencies and lean into them. He needs to sort out the putting technique to avoid the weird wrist movements and clubhead ahead of the ball after impact. He needs to work on his breathwork, but he is a HELL OF A BALL STRIKER. WHen he hits an iron or wedge solid, even a 5 wood....even pros would be proud of it. But he needs to play consistently. He needs to LEARN this year. We will all make it.
