Make it Go - how to build a flatpack bookshelf or shelves for clothes or toys

Do stuff yourself! Flatpack furniture can be a joy or a horror to assemble - especially when there are pieces missing, or there aren't any instructions! Here's how to put together a simple bookshelf without using the instructions.
Step 1) Figure out what components you have, noticing any differences between them
Step 2) Figure out which tools you will need
Step 3) Lay everything out how you would like to have it assembled
Step 4) Finger tighten screws and tack the corners on so you can check the overall function and alignment before fully committing!
Step 5) Have patience!
