This video aims to provide a simple introduction to the religion of Shinto and how the universe, japan, and other gods were created according to it.

The story starts off from chaos and goes into detail about how the first gods came into existence, how they created Japan, and how the other god were created.

Nearly all of the information in this video comes from the Kojiki (or "An Account of Ancient Matters") which is an ancient Japanese text which chronicles the mythology of Japan, and the Nihon Shoki (or "The Chronicles of Japan") which is also a historical Japanese text, explaining the mythology of Japan.
